Fence painting Melbourne

Fence painting that lifts the whole street view.

Your front fence is the first thing people see. We prepare and paint timber, metal and rendered fences and gates across Melbourne's northern suburbs, so they look sharp and stay protected.

What's included

Fences of every kind, done properly.

Fences are exposed to weather on both sides, and every picket, rail and post has edges that need attention. Good preparation is what stops a freshly painted fence peeling again within a few seasons.

01

Timber picket fences

Pickets, rails and posts are scraped, sanded and primed where bare, then painted with an exterior enamel, a classic look for period homes.

02

Paling and boundary fences

Paling fences can be stained or painted. We can work with you on timing if a neighbour shares the fence.

03

Metal and steel fences

Metal fences and gates are cleaned, treated for surface rust and primed with a metal primer before the top coats.

04

Rendered and brick fences

Rendered piers and fence walls are cleaned, cracks filled and repainted with a masonry coating to match the house.

Pricing guidance

What affects the cost.

Fence painting is priced mainly on the length and height of the fence, the material, how much old paint has to come off, the number of gates and posts, and whether one or both sides are painted.

Detailed picket fences take longer than flat paling fences of the same length. After a free site visit we send a written, itemised quote.

Helpful answers

Questions homeowners ask.

Can you paint just the front fence?

Yes. Many people refresh the front fence and gate on their own, or together with the house trims for a matching finish.

What about a shared boundary fence?

We can paint your side only, or both sides if your neighbour agrees. It's worth talking to them first, especially if you're changing the colour.

Can you paint metal or Colorbond-style fences?

Metal fences can be painted with the right cleaning and primer. We'll check the existing finish and recommend a suitable coating.

How long does fence painting take?

It depends on the length, the amount of preparation and the weather. We confirm a realistic timeframe with the quote.

Do you give free fence painting quotes?

Yes. Call 0452 219 991 or email photos of the fence to get started.
